Who are we?
MovingToppings is an emergent dance collective led by Júlia Chacón I Espí and Letícia Conduto. Started in 2023 with their first creation called Does your mom know you’re here?, a choreography that was awarded in Rome – Festival Corpo Mobile 2024.
The main focus of the collective is to expand and explore the limits of art through contemporary dance. Their movement language comes from the curiosity and the ambitious of choreographing pieces with humor that includes diversity.
During the year of 2024, they created Ancestors’ Land, part of the production FOUR WALLS that had premiere in Teatre La Lira, Barcelona. Now, the upcoming production is FIVE WALLS which has premiere on the 1st of March 2025 at Teatre del Centre Cívic Sant Andreu, Barcelona.
